How to setup PPTP VPN on Windows 10

Right click on your Lan / Wi-Fi icon from system tray and click on Network settings.

Choose VPN and click on Add a VPN-connection.

Insert accounting data: To complete select Remember my sign-in info and click Save.

To connect select just created configuration and click on Connect.

VPN-connection will be established in few seconds. To break VPN-connection click on Disconnect.

To adjust additional parameters of VPN-connection for increased level of security, select Change adapter options.

On Security tab to select data encryption type - Maximum strength encryption (disconnect if server declines).

On Networking tab uncheck items Internet Protocol version 6 and File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks.

To change address of VPN-server, select Advanced options.
